Great question! You will be charged at checkout when ordering like normal. We'll then create you're item(s) just for you, then send an update saying your item(s) are being shipped & have delivered during the timeframe that is posted on the product page.

We have our very own boutique located in New Plymouth where you can try on any of our Brooke Barrett sample pieces. We're available by appointment only, so please contact us to make a booking.

DO YOU OFFER APPOINTMENTS FOR BRIDAL PARTIES?
Absolutely! We would love to assist in creating an exciting opportunity for your bridesmaids, your next event or to simply have your made to order Brooke Barrett piece. Please contact us to make a booking.
As we are available by appointment only, at this stage we don't have opening hours as such - however please contact us to arrange a viewing time, we would love to see you.
WHERE ARE BROOKE BARRETT ITEMS MADE & HOW LONG DO THEY TAKE TO MAKE?
All items are designed as limited edition pieces, and made to order by hand by Brooke, in her New Zealand studio; meaning quality control is personally overseen from start to finish.
For bespoke items or bridal parties we ask for a 12-16 week lead time, however, we understand each situation is unique, so endeavour to accomodate rush orders when possible.
*An additional 10% fee will apply to orders needed within 8-10 weeks
*An additional 20% fee will apply to orders needed within 7 weeks or less
For our available online one off pieces, we can accomodate 4-10 week turn arounds based on fabric availability. If a shorter deadline is required, additional fees will be required.

We offer XS, S, M and L.
HOW DO I KNOW WHICH SIZE I NEED?
We advise a consultation where possible (or Skype) where we can run you through sizing etc if you're wanting a bespoke item but live outside of New Plymouth (New Zealand).
During a fitting you can try on a variety of sizes to ensure we have chosen the most accurate to your body shape, and to be sure, we will double check with a full set of body measurements.
Be sure to check our size chart where you can take the appropriate measurements and match accordingly.
WILL I NEED ALTERATIONS?
Together, we will choose items as close to your size as possible, but in order to get the utmost perfect fit sometimes alterations are required. We have generous hem lengths to accomodate our taller shoppers, but offer an alterations service at request for an additional fee. Please contact us if you have any queries.

All Brooke Barrett pieces are available in a selection of 9 staple house colours, while some featured fabrics are limited edition pieces and will vary in cost. We can source additional items within New Zealand and the rest of the world.
WHY DO ADDITIONAL COLOURS COST MORE?
We make it easy for you to customise each Brooke Barrett piece to your liking. That being said, some customisations are more costly to create than others. While we have the fabric for our recommend colours on-hand, fabric for all other colours must be special-ordered separately. This is reflected in the pricing for colour customisation.

All Brooke Barrett pieces are available in a selection of 9 staple house colours in a silk crepe de chine, while some featured fabrics are limited edition pieces in a range of fibre contents. We can source additional items within New Zealand and the rest of the world.

We ship worldwide! If you can’t select your country at checkout, get in touch with us and we'll see how we can ship a parcel to you.
HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO RECEIVE GOODS?
As every item is made to order we endeavour to get your items to you as soon as possible. As soon as your item(s) have been produced, delivery within New Zealand takes 2-3 working days.
International delivery depends on your location globally and any customs delays. Each item will be shipped with tracking information so you will be able to follow the journey online. The tracking number and info will be emailed to you on confirmation of dispatch.
IF THERE ARE TAXES AND DUTIES ON THE SHIPMENT, DO I HAVE TO PAY THEM?
Yes, these are not included in the total order price and are determined at the destination country. Any import taxes and customs clearance is the responsibility of the consignee.
Each country has different thresholds for these charges, so we advise you to check with your local customs team for info on any delays or fees.
I ENTERED THE WRONG ADDRESS, CAN I CHANGE IT?
As long as the parcel hasn't been sent - then yes! If you wish to change / alter your shipping address please contact us as soon as possible. If your order has already been processed through dispatch we are unable to make any changes to your shipping address and no refund can be made.
