Brooke Barrett online provides shipping both domestically (New Zealand) and internationally. Provided below is information and requirements to ensure your purchases get to you will no implications.

SHIPPING COSTS AND METHODS

Whilst the team at Brooke Barrett make every effort to get you order to you within the time frames noted below, unforeseen circumstances and peak trading times can have an effect on these guidelines.

Upon ‘check out’ a final shipping cost will be calculated for you based on delivery location, selected delivery service and value of product purchased. Refer to the below chart for a general guideline. 

NEW ZEALAND:
$7.50 for a tracked courier, $10 for a tracked courier to rural addresses.

AUSTRALIA:
$25 Express courier 1-5 working days or E-Post 5-10 working days depending on location and item value.

REST OF THE WORLD:
$50 targeted 5-10 working days/

Our shipping rates are constantly under review and may be amended at any stage without notice. We endeavour to keep our shipping rates as minimal as possible.

Estimated delivery times are to be used as a guide only. BROOKE BARRETT will not be held accountable for any delivery delay caused by the country’s custom clearance process. We are unable to redirect orders once dispatched. Anyone at the delivery address who receives the goods will be presumed by BROOKE BARRETT to be authorised to receive the goods. Delivery charges include packing, delivery and insurance.


TRACKING

All deliveries will include a tracking number, automatically emailed to you upon dispatch from Brooke Barrett. Ensure to hold on to this and follow links in the email to track your order.

ADDITIONAL NOTES

Standard courier practice applies to all Brooke Barrett purchases.

Parcels Must be signed for upon delivery, if delivery cannot be made the driver will leave a collection card at the stated address. To collect the parcel, the collection card must be presented with a form of photo ID at the nominated courier branch. If the parcel is not collected within 10 business days, it will be returned to Brooke Barrett. Please note that redelivery will incur an additional shipping charge.

*If shipping to a business address please ensure this is included in the ‘shipping address’*

To ensure an easy delivery process please supply the required fields for delivery including a name &/or business name, physical address for where the item/s is to be delivered (between the hours of 9am – 5pm weekdays) and a phone number for couriers to contact you if required.

*Please note that some delays at the receiver’s end i.e. customs may vary depending on the country and is outside of Brooke Barrett’s control and responsibility.

 

PRICING, TAXES & DUTIES

All prices are displayed in New Zealand Dollars (NZD). All prices displayed are inclusive of New Zealand Goods and Services Tax (GST) for New Zealand Customers and exclusive for any purchases outside of New Zealand.

As the recipient, you are liable for all import duties, customs and local sales taxes levied by the country you are shipping to; payment of these may be necessary to release your order from customs on arrival.

CALCULATING YOUR ORDER IN A FOREIGN CURRENCY:

Prices listed are charged in New Zealand Dollars (NZD). The exact exchange rate that you will pay is determined by the bank that has issued your credit card, but in general it will match very closely with the going exchange rates. RETURNS POLICY 

  • Brooke Barrett operates under the New Zealand Consumer Guarantees Act 1993. Brooke Barrett items may not be returned or exchanged unless they are faulty.
  • Our clothing is made-to-order, just for you and no one else. Because of this we do not offer refunds or credits on made-to-order items. 
  • Please check your measurements against our sizing chart before placing your order https://brookebarrett.co.nz/pages/sizing-chart. 
  • All faulty returns must be made via emailing hello@brookebarrett.co.nz
  • Faulty returns must be received within 7 days of delivery within New Zealand, or 2 weeks for the rest of the world. Please note that any item(s) to be returned must be in new, unused, unworn, unwashed, undamaged and with the DO NOT REMOVE tag still attached in the same place as originally sent.
  • Once your refund is processed you will be notified via the email address on your account.
  • Shipping and handling costs are not refunded unless the original item is faulty.
  • Any and all refunds processed will be in New Zealand dollars (NZD) Any change to exchange rates at the time of return processing is beyond the control of Brooke Barrett.
  • No cash refund will be given.
  • No returns or credits will be given on sale, discounted or promotional offers.
  • If you are unhappy with the fit of your garment, we will cover the cost of alterations up to $50 (valid with receipt only), any additional fee will be to be charged via your original payment method.
  • Each listing offers size information with easy-to-follow instruction for taking accurate measurements, so returns are not accepted.
