RENTAL POLICY

We value all of our wearers, however, we only rent our samples out of respect to customers purchasing our made to order garments at full price.

Please shop our online store if you would like to purchase any alternate sizes (sample sizes may vary per style).

Delivery Policy

Rentals are sent Monday-Friday, please select the dates you want your rental for, shipping times will be allocated either side of this. Your garment will arrive to you at least one working day before you need to wear it (usually more) unless there are unforeseen reasons, however, you will be notified once your item has been shipped.

The address you supply to us for the courier will need to be one where someone will be there to receive it. Otherwise you will need to inform us earlier (in additional notes at checkout) where to leave safely for you at this property. If the item is sent to a work address this needs to be stated in the form of e.g. name and c/o -work place. Brooke Barrett will not to be held responsible for packages that are left unattended. For any late deliveries from either couriers we will track these down for you. Just message us. You can track your parcel at any time in your orders on the website.

All garments delivered have been professionally cleaned and are provided to the customer in a ready to wear state. We inspect each item before delivery and we require that all garments be returned un-damaged and in the same condition that you received them in.

Although our pieces are not brand new (these are initially made for photoshoots, as all Brooke Barrett items re made to order), we do everything we can to keep it in the most pristine condition. We do not rent out samples that look heavily worn. Should you have any concerns once your garment arrives please let us now within 24 hours of receiving it. A credit note will be allocated at the discretion of Brooke Barrett if we agree this is inadequate.

While wearing your rental

Please look after your item like it is your own, yet keep in mind that Brooke Barrett will remain the legal owner of this garment at all times.

Please be mindful of embellishments and delicate fabrics and please be very careful wearing jewellery or bags that may snag the material. If a stain happens please do not attempt to remove. Brooke Barrett will clean upon return. This is included in the rental charge.

Returning Policy

Please place unwashed item in the provided thick plastic bag it was supplied in + place in prepaid courier bag.

If the rental is not returned on the first working day after your selected 4 rental days, each additional day will incur a $30 late fee charged to your credit card. If the dress is stained or damaged, you will be held accountable for professional cleaning and/or repair fees.

We realise that our online customers cannot try on so we will do our best by supplying you with as much information as possible in regards to the fit. Contact us with any questions and we will be happy to discuss. If an item arrives and does not fit we will be more than happy to issue you with a credit note, minus the cost of freight paid if the following conditions are adhered to

you email us to directly with concerns (Brooke Barrett has full discretion to approve or decline this request if it is deemed by us as unfair e.g. change of mind);
the piece is returned to us quickly;
has not been worn and pink slip remains attached (please see the following 'credit policy'.

Please take time placing an order. If a cancellation is needed please let us know ASAP or at least 2 weeks before the rental date. We will then offer you a credit note that can be used at any time across our entire store, not just rentals.

Credit Policy
