Every garment of Brooke Barrett is handmade to order, and slight measurement differences are inherent to the bespoke nature of the manufacturing process.

Please note that some pieces are made to fit a number of sizes (e.g. adjustable between 6-10, or 'one size fits most' depending on the garment) please use the guide below to help determine the size most appropriate.

HOW TO TAKE YOUR MEASUREMENTS

We strongly advise having measurements taken by a professional to ensure no mistakes are made. BROOKE BARRETT is a ready-to-wear label and offer made to order garments that are available from size 6 - 16 specifically custom to BROOKE BARRETT. We recommend having measurements taken in your under garments, and if possible, the bra you will be wearing with the garments (if wearing one).

Bust: Measurement of the bust is taken at the fullest part with arms positioned down by your sides.

Natural Waist: This is the measurement around the narrowest point of the true waistline. Tie a piece of string around your waist and take the measurement from where it naturally sits.

Hip: Measure at the fullest part of your hips, with your heels together (Roughly 20cm below your waistline).

Dress length: Stand with your heels together, keeping the tape straight and at a 90° angle to the floor and measure from your shoulders.

Skirt length: Stand with your heels together, keeping the tape straight and 90° angle to the floor. Measure from your natural waistline.

Arm length: Measured from the point of the shoulder to the wrist.

Bicep: Measured around the top arm/bicep, this measurement applies to our close-fitted items.

Lead times:
- Standard sizing: 6 weeks from date of purchase for garment completion.
- Custom sizing: 9 weeks from date of purchase for garment completion.

Care instructions:
- Cold gentle hand wash separately with a delicate liquid detergent.
- Do not soak, bleach, rub or wring.
- Dry on a clothes hanger in the shade.
- Do not tumble dry.
- Cool iron on reverse with press cloth if required.
- Dry cleanable.
