Every garment of Brooke Barrett is handmade to order, and slight measurement differences are inherent to the bespoke nature of the manufacturing process.

Please note that some pieces are made to fit a number of sizes (e.g. adjustable between 6-10, or 'one size fits most' depending on the garment) please use the guide below to help determine the size most appropriate.

HOW TO TAKE YOUR MEASUREMENTS

We strongly advise having measurements taken by a professional to ensure no mistakes are made. BROOKE BARRETT is a ready-to-wear label and offer made to order garments that are available from size 6 - 16 specifically custom to BROOKE BARRETT. We recommend having measurements taken in your under garments, and if possible, the bra you will be wearing with the garments (if wearing one).

Bust: Measurement of the bust is taken at the fullest part with arms positioned down by your sides.

Natural Waist: This is the measurement around the narrowest point of the true waistline. Tie a piece of string around your waist and take the measurement from where it naturally sits.

Hip: Measure at the fullest part of your hips, with your heels together (Roughly 20cm below your waistline).

Dress length: Stand with your heels together, keeping the tape straight and at a 90° angle to the floor and measure from your shoulders.

Skirt length: Stand with your heels together, keeping the tape straight and 90° angle to the floor. Measure from your natural waistline.

Arm length: Measured from the point of the shoulder to the wrist.

Bicep: Measured around the top arm/bicep, this measurement applies to our close-fitted items.

- The makeup or 'personality' of the matte satin provides gorgeous flow and movement while holding enough structure and providing a silhouette with depth.
- The vertical lines allow for directional flow, from framing your face to extending length down the torso and legs.
- Tucks, pleats and ruffles create shape and movement, working with any individual's proportions and creating illusions throughout.
- Gathered bodice with neck-tie.
- Centre-back invisible zip closure.
- Ruched sleeve detailing and frilled hem with gathered shoulders.
- Gathered and flared hem detailing with front split.
- Waist seam with removable waist-tie.
- Elongated back hem-length.

Customisations:
- We create standard sizing (XS-XL) + offer custom sizing.
- For a small investment of $50, the following can be modified to fit your personal shape.
- The waist, hip + bust measurements can be customised.
- Along with the length of the skirt, sleeves, bodice, front or back keyhole openings, or even shoulder placement.
